Another pitching battle between these teams.

The Dodgers had all the power and all the timely hitting.
Pedro Guerrero belted a 3-run homerun in the Third Inning to put Los Angeles ahead for good.

The Cardinals' hitting was not good at all in this game, or in the previous game. 
In two games versus the Dodgers, the #1-2-3 hitters were a combined 1 for 22 with one Walk, one HBP and five Strikeouts.
