Game 13
Pittsburgh Starter: Rhoden  
​Chicago Starter: Eckersley
Tony Pena went 1 for 3 and drove in 2 runs (the only runs of the game). Rhoden went 6 innings before giving way to Rod Scurry and Kent Tekulve. The Pirates scored twice in the First Inning and only slightly threatened again in the Sixth Inning before a double play ended the threat.
Keith Moreland went 2 for 4 with 2 singles. Eckersley lasted 7 innings, gave up 4 hits and 2 walks (2 hits and 2 walks in the First Inning). The Cubs led off the bottom of the Seventh Inning with two singles but failed to score.
Final: Pittsburgh 2  Chicago 0

Game 14
Pittsburgh Starter: McWilliams
Chicago Starter: Sanderson
McWilliams allowed only 5 hits (all singles), 4 of them in the Fifth Inning. Doug Frobel drove in two runs, one on a double-play and the other on a deep fly out. Marvell Wynne went 2-3 with two doubles.
Sanderson drove in a run and scored a run. Ryne Sandberg struck out twice and drove in a run.

    What This Is

    A 1984 Chicago Cubs season replay using APBA Baseball.

    This was the first really good Cubs team I had to root for and I remember them clearly. 
    ​
    I will find out if I have the chops to get them the division title and maybe then a bit further...
