Game 10 Doubleheader Game One St. Louis starter: Andujar Chicago Starter: Ruthven Andujar earned the complete game shutout, allowing 5 hits, 1 walk, 2HBP (ouch) and strikes out 8. First baseman David Green goes 3 for 5 with a double, a run and 3 RBI. Willie Mcghee goes 3 for 4 and scores twice. Andujar was dominant from the start and the Cubs were helpless throughout. Doubleheader Game Two St. Louis Starter: LaPoint Chicago Starter: Sutcliffe Sutcliffe dominates again. He allowed 4 hits and 2 walks, struck out 9 and gave up a solo homer to Andy Van Slyke. Van Slyke had struck out 3 straight times before belting one in the Ninth inning to get the Cards on the board. Davey Lopes got the start and went 3 for 5 with a double, 2 runs and a stolen base. Leon Durham goes 5 for 5 with 2 doubles and a 2-run home run. Final: Cubs 9 Cardinals 1 Wins: 5 Ties: 1 Losses: 5 Game 12 St. Louis Starter: Cox Chicago Starter: Trout Trout allowed 3 Hits 4 BB and 4 Runs in the First Inning. Keith Moreland went 3-4 but had nothing to show for it. Ozzie Smith went 4-5 with 3 Runs and 3 RBI. The Cardinals had a 4-run 8th Inning that began with a Leon Durham error.
