Pittsburgh Starter: Rhoden Chicago Starter: Eckersley Tony Pena went 1 for 3 and drove in 2 runs (the only runs of the game). Rhoden went 6 innings before giving way to Rod Scurry and Kent Tekulve. The Pirates scored twice in the First Inning and only slightly threatened again in the Sixth Inning before a double play ended the threat. Keith Moreland went 2 for 4 with 2 singles.
